The story is more than 2 months old. It's time somebody lowballed him.
"The owner is committed to stay with the business for an extended
period to ensure its continued high level of success."
Hell, that was the problem in the first place. Mike Corbin's atrocious
customer service drove away hundreds, if not thousands of customers.
And the author followed up:
"For those of you who are pointing out customer service issues or
other recent problems, you’re really making the case for this being a
great buy, you’re looking at this from the perspective of a seat
buyer, not a company buyer. Those problems you mention are often signs
a company is ready for new management and once in place, improving
those problem areas could result in a much improved bottom line."

Heh. There speaks a man with forked tongue. Sounds like a Realtor
trying to sell a house located just off the end of an airport runway
by stressing that it's close to public transportation.

Carefully neglecting to mention that trying to overcome those problems
in the midst of a depression -when discretionary spending on things
like optional motorcycle gear is likely to remain at rock-bottom
levels for quite a while- is a Sisyphean task at best.
Corbin wants to bail out because he sees bankruptcy looming on the
horizon, and if he really thought that new management could easily
solve his problems he'd hire someone to manage for him. (It's not like
there aren't any good competent managers out there looking for work
these days...)
Buyer beware!

I'm not sure about that. Mike is so stubborn, he couldn't see how his
bad practices were hurting his bottom line. His ego gets in the way of
good management.

Yebbut... It'd be a shame for the company to go under. They are great
saddles. And the company does have a good business model. It's
efficient; has experienced, hard working employees; and a well thought
out production line. If new management can weather the slowdown, they
could thrive again. (Like Harley after the AMF days.)
