Looks like the "tail-pipe lady" out of Agora Hills (Fran Pavley-D) is at it
again.
California Senate Bill SB 435:
Thumbnail sketch would be motorcycles 2000 and newer would be required to be
smog checked. So there goes the aftermarket industry too. Link:

Love they inserted the "reimburse local agencies and schools" as part of
this revenue generating ploy.
Wonder why she didn't go after the state's governor who pollutes probably
more in one day in his Gulfstream commuting from Santa Monica to Sacramento
than what motorcycles do in a decade?
Oh, never mind. "Green Cop" laws don't apply to them. Government of the
hypocrisy by the hypocrisy.

It's going to be interesting to see how long the people of California put up
with this crap before they resort to armed insurrection.

I live in one of the few California counties where we don't have smog
inspections, only upon sale of a vehicle to non-family members. We are all
cousins?
That will probably change and half the cars here wont pass, but we could
protest by killing all of our trees, no more oxygen for you!
Most of my stuff is pre-74 or diesel anyway, but i left the smog gear
intact on my 04 ST1100.
