I just have to brag a little bit. A little over a month ago, I bought
a Honda Reflex...I know its a
scooter and I know what some of you, in this group think of
scooters....but with 250cc it gets
me around and this morning I took an 80 mile ride on it. Again, no big
deal for most of the likes
of you who routinely ride cross country on your hogs. But I'm 58 years
old, a grandmother and
have not been on a bike since my college days. My kids were aghast
when I told them that I was buying
a bike, the grandkids think it is cool. Anyway I took and passed the
MSF class last week and
decided to take a nice long ride along the ocean on A1A this morning.
It was the most fun I've
had in years!

Good for you young lady. It doesn't matter what you ride. It's all the
same wind.

The last time I rode on A1A was in 1969 from Jacksonville Beach to St.
Augustine. Errrr, I was on a Peugo' motorbicycle. I imagine the scenery
has changed a little since I was there.
