"It is a sandal specially designed for motor bikers.
The features built in it are engineered for foot protection & comfort
while riding the motorcycle."

I can't wait to miss my chance to order a pair of these.

"Bata Bangladesh has launched an exclusive sandal for Motorcyclists
for the first time"

"Another interesting feature of this sandal is that it can also be
used without the back strap as a slipper depending on the wish of the
rider. "

900 Bangladesh Taka = $ 13.11, USD, BTW. Reasonable price for
good protective riding gear :-)

You expected WHAT from Bangladesh ? :-)

It's actually not a bad idea. In Asia, there are gazillions of riders.
The streets are crowded with them. _Very_ few wear much protective
gear at all. Most cities are in the tropics, which means wearing
leather and heavy boots is impracticable. A high percentage of people
wear sandals when riding. That won't change, no matter how many public
service ads are run. A sturdy sandal makes sense.
