Being almost as gullible and superstitious as any Christian, I believe that
what we do on New Years Day influences the rest of the year so I always try
to take a ride.  This time the Harley dealer was open and SWMBO bought a
brand new bike.  I mean, what are the odds?  Does it mean I must buy a new
H-D every day?

I think it just means that you have to ride more often with SWMBO,
which can't be a bad thing!

I took the Street Glide and then the S4Rs out for a short ride each on
New Year's Day.  Felt great!

It was rainy here yesterday , and it's bad enough dodging clueless cagers
who don't expect to see motorcycles this time of year when it's nice . So I
took my "new years" ride today , to the grocery store for stuff to make
spaghetti sauce . Which I need to get on the stove soon if it's going to be
ready by 6 PM .

Yikes!  That could get expensive.  What'd she select for her new ride?

I went for a ride up here in the GWN.  Temps got over 50* and I managed
to do about 125 miles to move the phototag for our local message board.
Today is supposed to reach a whopping 25* with flurries, so I'll do it
again for lunch with the folks from the board.
