Can I just commend to the house any obituary of Lucien Freud (the Times
gives him two pages: I expect the Telegraph will do similar).
Utterly magnificent artist and, more relevant to ukrm, a shagmeister par
excellence, who has left as many as 30 illegitimate children in his
wake.

Seems related to me. If one desires to father 30 illegitimate
children, a motorcycle seems like great transportation. Less likely
to be noticed by the husbands, for example.

As a lad, Neil wondered who his mother's male visitors might be, while
his Da was away toting Foreign Office dispatches to embassies abroad.
That's how Neil got interested in motorcycles...
