Hey! An invite to the Blessing of the Bikes in Hell, May 14th. We'll be
meeting at the Big Boy in Whitmore Lake at 9AM once again. We've managed to put
a large gathering of friends and acquaintances together for this year. I'm
figuring at least a dozen bikes. Oh, BTB, I am picking up a new ride this week
- a 1984 GoldWing with a California Friendship II sidecar. <g> 9500 miles and
showroom new.

I may need to write some more prayers - could be a side-job
for me there.
Oh Lord, when we're in the twisties,
protect our bums from all the blisties,
and when we need a sudden stop,
keeps our helmets up on top.
Lean it left, lean it right,
just keep it upright, in thy sight,
and let those cagers, in their boxes,
not cause our brakes to lockses.
Amen.

Here's a cluebrick for ya. The Blessing in Hell is anything but common.
It doesn't seem that you're invited either. :p

Amen to that.
Be careful-- I had my SV650S blessed a couple of years ago and less than
a week later I crashed after being edged out by a lone driver blithely and
unexpectedly taking the HOV (motorcycle/carpooling) freeway entrance ramp.
Always true: "If they aren't near you- they can't collide with you"
... a little like saying "100% of all short putts don't go in the cup",
but it's still useful advice.
Of course there remains the possibility that I was saved from an even
more severe crash, by virtue of riding a blessed bike.
