Word here has it that since Obama was voted as the next president the
economy has boomed.....especially rope, guns and white sheets..... :)

Don't know about the ropes and sheets , but guns are moving well here in
the South . And so is 7.62X39r and 5.56 mm NATO ammo .

Is there another way to buy ammo apart from by the case? :)
I'm surprised Good Ole Boys would be using Russian/Chinese guns over US
made.....not very patriotic?
I'm a bit old school and still go with 7.62x51 (.308 Win).

A nice cheap Yugoslavian SKS uses 7.62x39 Russian, and even though it's
no threat to anyone other than forest rats I am afraid the antis are
going to want to ban it as an assault rifle, or make the ammo too
pricey to shoot it.

I scored a couple SKS's for my boys, one Chinese, the other Russian.
They had to be 'sporterised' with the bayonet lug coming off and the
magazine being cut down to fit 7 rounds max. This stops the gun
'looking' like an assault rifle (need a special licence) and makes it
safe for civilian use.
You must have BIG forest rats to be using that ammo on them!!
