Looking for some help here, I have a Goldwing motorcycle with a Pioneer
Supper Tuner III DEH-1800 and 2 four inch speakers in the faring . The
problem is , at speed (say 50 mph on up ) In order to hear the Stereo , I
have to turn it way up to hear over wind noise . Thats when it starts so
sound terrible with Popping ,cracking and buzzing and all that good stuff.
Not knowing squat about this stuff I thought I'd come here to find out if
there's better speaker I can go to , or do I need a amp or both . Looking
for some help .... Thanks Runk......

Sounds like you might be better off with a pair of headphone earpieces.
Its also possible that you have a loose connection thats causing all the
static. If the bike is stationary and you crank the volume up, are the
speakers fine? If not, the speakers are probably blown.

If it's popping, cracking, and buzzing either something's busted or
you're overdriving the speakers.
Either way, if you've got an earphone jack then try a pair of in-ear
headphones.
http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sony-Fontopia-Closed-Type-In-Ear-Headphones-Black-MDREX71SLAB/sem/rpsm/oid/162265/catOid/-12938/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do works fine for me, but some of the audio purists complain about the
sound quality. A musician recommended
http://www.guitarcenter.com/M-Audio-IE-10-Professional-Reference-Earphones-104067293-i1169827.gc to me--I tried them and personally I can't tell the difference but my
ears aren't what they used to be so YMMV. They're also a little
bulkier than the Sony and the helmet tends to knock them off. Note
that such things are unlawful to use in some states--earplugs OK,
phones not OK (don't ask me to explain the logic of it--I didn't write
the laws). If you're prone to getting stopped then you might want to
keep that in mind. If not then just remember that in the event that
you do get stopped it may be an extra fine or the officer may charge
you with that one in lieu of a big speeding fine depending on what
mood he's in.
From a safety viewpoint I can hear better on the bike with helmet on
and earphones in than I can in my Jeep with the windows rolled up--the
notion that they block all outside sound is considerably in error, but
they do seem to take out the impulse noise that is what does most of
the ear damage and mute the others a bit.
There's a list of state motorcycle laws at
http://www.amadirectlink.com/legisltn/laws.asp.

Even 'name brand' companies make shit speakers, for resale to
vehicle companies.
I saw recently a $ 1,000 aftermarket stereo for HD's
advertised, screaming 'BLAUPUNKT !!! QUALITY SPEAKERS !!!' real
loud.
When I looked up the particular speaker model, it's a $ 20 / pair POS
model.
Replace the speakers with a name brand that costs ~ $ 75 /
pair ( for 4 " ) - price is a decent inidcator of quality in speakers.
name brand is not, so much, unless you're in a decent part of the
price spectrum.
