Planning group trip-where to this time?

 

A group of us from the Atlanta, Georgia area are planning a trip in a
few weeks.  We've decided when, now we need to decide where.

We always go north to northeast-this spring we rode the Blue Ridge
Parkway from end to end-so this time we are going somewhere different.  
We plan on being gone 3 or 4 days and riding 400-500 miles a day.

Can anybody suggest places to ride west or south of Atlanta, Georgia?  
We prefer back roads and scenic rides.  We've discussed New Orleans,
Biloxi, Panama City and that area, but I think anywhere in Alabama,
Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, or even Kentucky (ok,
northwest) would be OK as long as the riding is great.  Thanks.
