In my quest to start narrowing my field of choices just in case a
great buying opportunity erupts or I find myself with extra spendable $
$ :)- ...
I can easily change the oil, air filter, final drive oil on my '02
VTX1800C, but I hear that there are some late model cruisers that the
dealer has to change oil on because of where the oil filter is; they
make filter relo kits for the DIY'er.
While I'm not interested in sportbikes, my son's ZX6 is a bit of a
PITA - gotta take off the lower fairing to get to the oil filter;
gotta take off the tank to get to the air filters.
I don't want to dismantle a bike to do basic stuff or take it to the
dealer unless of course, I've got prepaid service.
What cruiser/tourer bikes out there that you know are difficult to
perform basic service in a home garage?
