There's actually an *up side* to the "tragic death" of Marco
Simoncelli.

Yes, I know that all his associates are mounring his death and saying
what a great personality he had and how a potential world championship
career was cut short.

But, in reality, Marco was a menace to the other riders.

He wrecked Lorenzo, Pedrosa, and Stoner, and his last crash insured
Edwards.

He really wasn't ready for riding 200+ horsepower motorcycles that
would go 200 mph.

Every time I saw that #58 bike with the red San Carlos logo on it, I
thought, "Jeezus, I hope he doesn't take another rider out of the
race!"

Where did grand prix motorcycle road racing go wrong?

When did this gentleman's sport turn into ice hockey?

If the egomaniac known as Tim Morrow has a reply, he can save his
efforts, because I won't bother to read it...

Interesting, I just read somewhere that 47 people had been killed in
GP since its inception. Maybe they were counting 250's and 125's?
