Anybody riding in the Southeast lately? It's been raining heavily in
Atlanta for a week and we've got flooding. My wife spent the night at
her sister's house and she's stuck there - all entrances and exits to
the neighborhood are flooded. I'm thinking of giving it the "I'm mad
as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!" treatment, put on the
rainsuit, and ride into the monsoon.

Just rode in from Ansley to Midtown this morning, not too wet. I got
drenched riding home last Wednesday though.

That's the spirit!
Personally, I don't so much mind riding in the rain -- kind of fun
actually -- as I do the part about having wet pants afterwards. The
right gear'll take care of that pretty well though.

We had three cabins full of riders last night. I haven't checked on them this
morning but I'd be willing to bet they haven't strayed far from the coffee pot.
It's past noon now and it's been raining since before dawn.

Heh, I backed out of a last minute, unplanned stop at your place after
watching the weather channel. I've got some acquaintances staying over
in Townsend and had four days to kill this week. When I saw the blob
of green and red sitting over your piece of heaven, I called them and
said have fun. I'm headed north in Michigan for three days of trail
riding and firepit staring with the XR.

Wimps! 8^) If I was going places rain wouldn't/hasn't stopped me.
