...come again some other day
When I am gone and far away
In Cally Forn Eye "A"
When all the leaves are brown (leaves are brown)
Vancouver skies are grey (sky is grey)
I'll be safe and warm (safe and warm)
When I reach L.A.
I've been through the desert on a bike with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain (and how!!!!!)
In the desert, you can remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain (I hope)

My neighbor spent the weekend on the Colorado River, north of Yuma.
That would put him right in the Great Sonora Desert. He said the rain
on Saturday was torrential. Of course, that was the offshoot of
hurricane Jimena, but it goes to show you can't always get what you
want.

It's monsoon season. Happens every year. Comes up the Gulf of
California. There are thunderstorms in the low desert. The rain gets
as far west as Palmdale. It usually doesn't get as far north as
Bakersfield, bit it did last year.

As usual, Krusty talks out of his ass. He has no clue what a monsoon
is.
(Of course, now is the time for him to cut and paste a verbose Wiki
search result that proves it.)
