<<The Dodge Tomahawk can reach 60 miles an hour in about 2.5 seconds,
and has a theoretical top speed of nearly 400 mph.>>
So... my wife's GZ250 has a theoretical top speed of 90 mph based on
gearing and max RPM. ;)
And I wonder what they mean by "about 2.5" seconds.
This is an interesting design exercise. At the Auto show they had some
cool video showing it riding in straight lines through an industrial
area infested with steam leaks and thumpy music. That was years ago.
They made a lot of claims about top speed, but I don't recall seeing
the results of any actual runs. Nor have I seen any proof that it can
actually turn. I guess it would be a great bike for the "looks hot"
crowd.

Ahem. The Viper is strictly a posing machine. It's practical value as
a motorcycle approaches nil. As such, it's posing value has merit only
for the "bigger is better" crowd. OTOH, the Cub is a classic. It
ushered in a whole new era of biking. To be seen on a Cub shows that
you are aware of its historical significance and that you are above
the "size matters" hoopla. Much cooler.
(Of course, you already knew that. FWIW, my first bike was a Honda 50.
I would buy another, but at 6'5" and 225lbs, it ain't happening.)

And that you don't care if everyone thinks you're gay.
