bit. Brazil WAS different though...

Yeah, but they might attract meese...?
And whatcha mean, you've done travelling?!

I've re-dyed black boots before, but had to scrub them down pretty good
to break down any coatings that are on them(shaving cream and a plastic
brush). Then dyed them with Fiebing's leather dye, then polish.
