Tell it to somebody who gives a shit.
Maybe Craigslist rants n' raves in Papua/New Guinea?

I really liked the Chevy HHR I got one time. I had no problem seeing
out of it. In fact, I would say it was a lot easier to see around me
than in the Corvette. Of course, in the Corvette, what is behind me
is not important....

While I have no doubt that you (obviously) prefer your car; looking at
the two photos you provided does not indicate any major differences in
outward visibility permitted between the two.
> The hhr's front windscreen is tiny,
It doesn't look tiny to me, and I don't recall noticing anything
unusual at all about the size of the windshield of the one I rented,
at the time I rented it. However, I did find numerous reviews that
also criticized the car for overly thick A-pillars and for a chopped
(and thus too low) roof.

<suspicious> You didn't accidentally rent the panel van version, did
you???? </suspicious>

Yeah, the one I drove was pretty slow, too. But then, it was a
rental. Isn't there a higher performance version of it? Oh, yeah,
the SS:
"Powering the SS is a turbocharged and direct-injected 2.0-liter four-
cylinder engine, which enables the HHR SS to achieve EPA-rated highway
mileage of 29 mpg with the manual transmission and 28 mpg with the
automatic. Driver-selectable performance features including the "no-
lift shift" help the SS achieve 0-60 mph performance in 6.3 seconds
and cover the quarter-mile in 14.8 seconds at 98.5 mph. Equipped with
the manual transmission, the SS has a top speed of more than 150 mph.

True. Otoh, I saw my first new Camaro convertible with the top down
last weekend, and it is a *much* nicer looking car (with VASTLY better
outward visibility) than the coupe. Of course, even with a
convertible, you eventually have to put the top *up*.
