That's right, rub it in. Today I fantasized about riding.

Glad to hear you won't have to mess with the bars. Did you get the
backrest with the adjustable tilt shock or the fixed one with multiple
mounting holes? I found the backrest I bought pushed a little too forward
for my feet too. It's probably just a matter of getting used to it, but
it makes the bike feel just the tiniest bit cramped. It sure does help
the back though, no doubt about that.

I got one with adjustable tilt but not the one with the gas spring.
and yes it is a bit too far forward right now. Unfortunately I don't
have any imperial measure allen wrenches around here. I'll pick up a
set tomorrow and see if I can adjust it backwards a bit.
Let's see there is a tool store within walking distance of my place,
but the really good allan wrenches are sold at Princess Auto, way on
the other side of town. I just might have to ride there to get the
good ones.
I need to pick up a set of Kuryakin offset highway pegs too. The soft
bar chaps will have to be modified a bit. The hole intended to fit
around the highway pegs is so small you'd have to remove the pegs and
mount every time you wanted to throw on the chaps. Way too much work.

I rode 400+ miles on Thor's Day. Once out of the dreary central valley
tule fog,
it was bright and clear over to the coast and along the coast.
A senior lady in Buellton noticed how lightly I was dressed and
remarked on how nice the weather was.
I told her that the winter storm which dumped 10 feet of snow in the
northern Sierras only dropped an inch of rain on the southern Sierras.

And then you woke up.

That was a GREAT game and you got a ride in too!
We used to live in Green Bay and would go to Godfathers pizza (across from
the stadium, '80's) for lunch sometimes when they were playing. It was fun
to sit outside and listen to crowd.
