US 50. I recall a sign at the NV/UT state line, heading east. It said,
"Next Services 107 Miles". Is that still the case? You got a jerrycan?
Have a good ride. The Loneliest Highway is one of my favorites.

Bryan's Song
He was leanin' round a corner doing ninety miles an hour
When the chain on his motorsickle broke
He was was found in the grass
With the sprocket up his ass
And the handle bar was wrapped around his throat.
He was skinned all over by the rocks and the gravel
And his butt was bleeding from the spokes
You've heard of accidents with hotrod cars and planes
But the accident he had would take the cake
His foot slipped off the pedal, his boot caught in the chain
And he couldn't even use the brake
He ain't braggin he ain't lyin, he's just layin there a dyin
With that handlebar wrapped around his throat
He's got the front tire for a necktie, the back tire for a belt
And he's wearing the fenders for a coat

LOL, you should try some Pilot Road 2s next. I now have just shy of 7k
on 'em and they look like new and stick like a sumbitch. With the
horsepower I have on tap, I'm truly impressed.

Have fun. Two of us are headed for northern Kentucky in two weeks for
three days of playtime.

I just didn't feel comfortable riding 500 miles across the west desert
by my lonesome on my bike. That says a lot, since I am the opposite of
DFC, usually I'd say go for it, damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead.
You need to join a social activity where there are always lots of people
involved.
How about a quilting bee?

Oh. Sorry to hear that, but it is certainly better than being caught 50
miles from nowhere with a borkenbike.
Happy Birthday anyway. Enjoy the cake.
