Poor little Krusty: he doesn't own or a bike -or a sense of humor- so
he must be content with unsuccessfully trying to insult people who do.

So? My imaginary FZR1000 needs a new tire.
That's my imaginary reality at this moment...
But I have a tetralemma going here.
A tetralemma is like a dilemma with four horns.
I'm trying to decide whether to accept the fact that I just don't do
much "sport touring" any more and install a grippier sport tire like a
Metzeler Sportec Z6 or a Conti Sport Attack, both of which cost about
the same, about $170...
OTOH, maybe I should accept the fact that I'm just too old to be going
that fast any more and install a Metzeler Road Tec Z6 or a Conti Road
Attack on the rear and get two or more years wear out of it.
The above mentioned tires are steel belted radials.
If I go with a non-steel belted radial, Continental describes the
Conti Motion as an all season sport touring radial for entry level
riders and economy minded veterans (1) and I can get one of those for
half the price of a steel belted Z6 or Attack.
So maybe my real decision is whether I still ride fast or far enough
to get any benefit out of a steel belted radial on my imaginary Yamaha
literbike...
(1) I'm a veteran. I have the DD214 to prove it...

That "Don't ask, don't tell" thing tripped you up, didn't it?
With you, anybody can tell without asking.
