Wrong... It's really the Templars. They were not destroyed by the
french and the catholics (though they were a catholic monastic order
themselves)

The Great Depression was the result of America guaranteeing that the
Jews would get their interest on the loans they made to finance WW1.

About $500 million in gold was sent from Ft. Knox to Europe.

Americans were required to turn in their bullion and could only keep
dental gold, collectible coins and jewelry.

The price of gold was set at $35 and ounce and remained there for
decades.

Gold smugglers used to smuggle gold to Canada for resale at a higher
price.

Recently the vaults at Ft. Knox were opened to "prove" that the gold
hadn't been removed after all.

But, who knows? The press didn't get a chance to actually inventory
the gols.
