Well part of the difference is we know those guys who have said they
rode in XXX kind of weather and have no reason to doubt them. Hell in
some cases we did it together.
You on the other hand have tried to establish your bona fides by
extrapolating a weekend or twos ride into some kind of hard core
annual mileage. Sorry Greg, but that one was laughable and to the best
of my knowledge has never been tried in Reeky before.
Credibility is a fragile thing and once you throw it away it doesn't
come back.
As for you receiving a rough ride around here, you ought to Google up
some past flame wars. You have been welcomed by the new kinder version
of Reeky and in my mind you have been received rather well.
But in fact you are a Troll. I borrowed some language from a web page
describing a Troll and one way they operate:
____________
In Usenet usage, a troll is not a grumpy monster that lives beneath a
bridge accosting passers-by, but rather a provocative posting to a
newsgroup intended to produce a large volume of frivolous responses.
The content of a "troll posting generally falls into several areas. It
may consist of an apparently foolish contradiction of common
knowledge, a deliberately offensive insult to the readers of a
newsgroup, or a broad request for trivial follow-up postings.
____________
Fits you like a glove Greg.
To your credit at least you have stayed on topic with the foolish
contradictions and frivolous stuff, but even then you finish almost
every new subject post begging for replies. You should take some
lessons from Piddie when it comes to begging for replies. He is the
master. <g>
Anyway, my apologies for making you cry. My remarks are not intended
as a flame, trust me you will know when I am flaming, but as an
obviously failed attempt to turn your stinky bait into something more
positive.
Your choice as to how you take it. I really don't much care one way or
the other.

You and I don't disagree on a whole helluva lot, but I've always
thought you were kind of off the mark with Greg. However, I now see
that you were right.
I own you a cold one in Moab in June.
Don't let me forget.

Free Beer from Tim, bud I'll have it tattooed on my forehead!
Kidding aside I feel badly about him leaving. Yeah the trolling bugged
me, but he did stay on topic and started a few interesting threads.
Oh well Reeky will survive the loss.
