Well... I'm sure some of us motorcyclists occasionally drive cars and
occasionally do headchecks as a carry over habit from riding the bike...
so it is concievable you could encounter a 'head-checking car driver' :)

That's not what he said.
GB, I head-check all the time when driving my car, but I never claim
to be able to see what's in my blind spots.
