Your assuming that the "normal" little cards are the only acceptable form of
"proof".
Maybe a letter on "official" letterhead from your agent stating all the
pertinent details (including the issuing company's contact information !),
policy number, coverage, etc. would be just as acceptable as the little
card.
I have no real basis for suggesting this; it just seems logical........which
doesn't mean crap when it comes to legal requirements. ;-)
