Please, somebody steal their one POS and toss it in the sewage works
after burning.
The world does not need more new kinds of Gatso.

I can't agree more.

Sorry, but I can't agree. You do NOT have the right to make
irritating amounts
of noise. And the other residents in Your Fair City, wherever that
might be, DO
have the right to enforce the laws against you doing that.
I cringe ever time I pass a bike with illegally loud pipes, because I
know that
that sort of behavior is just enforcing an already bad image of us in
the mind
of Joe Public, and it leads to exactly this sort of response. And
even worse,
to go beyond just enforcing noise ordinances to the point of taken
even
stricter legal steps against motorcycles and motorcyclists
specifically.
It's been said plenty of times before, and it's still true: Loud
pipes risk rights.

I'm with this, to a great extent. With rights come responsibilities.
All too often people consider the first and not the second. It's when
the responsibilities are ignored for long enough that legislation is
enacted, IMHO.

I got a bike, which _appears_ to have its stock muffler.
However, it is surprisingly loud (to me anyway) and I'm wondering
if the previous owner modified it internally.
Is there any easy way to determine if it still meets the factory
dB standards?
