Hey guys. A motorcyclist died in my city yesterday. I don't know his
name and never met him. Can somebody offer me some condolences too?

TOG is absolutely right. It's ridiculous. Although it's laudable
people like Thumper have an impulse for empathy, it's tawdry of Greg
to take advantage of that when it's not really needed. Save it for
the important stuff, Greg.
