My season will begin when the mechanic calls me and tells me my oil seals
are no longer pouring 10W30 and 80/90 into my dry clutch basket.  I would
normally tackle such a job on my own but he's got the tools, the training,
the parts, the lift, etc etc.  Not to mention it's his full-time job.  My
own is keeping pretty busy these days.

Just out of curiosity, what bike has a dry clutch basket and
runs 10W30 motor oil ?

Honestly, I was just guessing...  I don't recall off-hand what flavor it
uses.  I have to look it up each time.  Too many vehicles to keep it all
sorted out.  Either way it's a '95 K11LT and both engine oil and tranny
lube are wetting my dry clutch.

Your bike has a dry clutch, but being a single-plate design, it does not
have a clutch basket.  HTH.

K1100 single plate dry clutch:

Multiplate wet clutch with clutch basket (dry multiplate clutches are
mostly similar):
