I test rode the Hammer in Phoenix a few weeks ago. It cornered like a
pig due to, I assume, the wide flat rear tire. Nice to hear that the
other models with the "normal" rear tires are much better.

Yeah, my son had to take corners wide because of that 250 rear tire.
Looks really cool, but he said he couldn't stand cornering. The Vegas
had a 180; same as is on my Honda Aero. It had a skinnier fornt tire;
more like a Sportster.

You bet. In my mind I'm still skinny.

A slight forward lean is perfect for my over 50 imperfect lower back. It
takes the pinch off of my bad spot.

See? Never ever test ride bikes, and don't visit bike shops too often.
It's all I can do to refrain from buying another with all the others in
here adding to their stable. Thanks for the ride report, Greg. The Vegas
is a nice looking bike, no doubt about that.
