Any advice on what riding gear to buy as far as
clothing?
Example...do you like removable chaps over a pair of
special riding pants made out of say kevlar?
I'm thinking chaps allow you to remove them when you
get where you want. yes?

Dunno 'bout you, but I really would rather not have road
rash on my butt. My advice to most is cordura gear with
armor in it. Impact damage is a big part of most street
get-offs. The weather resistency of cordura is really nice
compared to leather. And the gear will go right over your
street clothes so you just hang it up on the coat hook when
you arrive.

I can say it was the best university I attended, but then it was the only
one attended. As one grad student put it, "There's a lot of big name
companies hiring UH grads. Either we produce good engineers or we're good
cheap labor."
Seeing that the average campus wear (circa 1980) was colour T-shirt, short
pants and rubber slippers, you could say we were casual.
