ABBB, anything but basic black. My summer mesh is yellow and my
winter stuff is bright three toned leather. My summer helmet is
yellow also and the winther one is a multi-hued HJC. Soon to be
purchased is the Olympia Phantom screaming yellow one piece suit. I
like being seen.

You could also put an orange flashing light on top of your helmet
and have a giant flag on a steel pole of the back of your bike...
