Statistics quoting does funny things, I was thinking the similar. I'd be
interested in knowing whether helmets statistically saved lives and/or
reduced injury. These type of quotes seem skewed and say little.
I believe in helmets, don't get me wrong. I just find these blind type
quoting of numbers for sensationalism odd.

Last summer I saw a young, good looking blonde lass in Clovis, NM riding a
scooter, with capri pants, short sleeve blouse and sandles, no helmet, only
sun glasses. She looked very charming on her scooter.
