Wildlife has been recovering from human depredation lately.
A mother bear was shot near Frazier Park recently, orphaning her three
cubs.
The Bakersfield Californian had a story today about how one of the
cubs has been released back to the wild, after being cared for by the
California Living Museum (CALM) near Lake Ming.
Also, beaver have been seen trying to build dams along the Kern River
*in the middle of Bakersfield* near UCB...
