It was probably a standard I was looking at. It definitely did not
have a stereo.
I could never look at that dash, with that big hole in it without
thinking of the tunes I would be missing.

Just be careful. After riding the Electra Glide exclusively for over a
month I hopped onto the Concours and road 100 miles out of town. My leg
joints apparently have acclimated to a cruiser bike as they started
bothering me after just a few miles riding. Skinny handle bars, pegs way
up and back. I wondered how I rode it for three years.
It was a lot of fun riding it again though. Zipping past people at will
and having much better control with the sport tourer position than the
full tour. The suspension is far superior to my Electra Glide too. More
travel and better damping.
You may not know it yet Don, but the Venture has spoiled you. Be prepared
for withdrawal symptoms if you get something else. I'd keep it and get a
second one to bip bop around town or to take on a hooligan run.
