Terribly *wrong*? Idiot shoots himself: I call that poetic justice.
No, road rage gone terribly wrong is the guy who got shot in his car in
SF the other week, possibly because of road rage. There are no
suspects... But his two kids survived.

I have mixed emotions on shooting cagers.
Suppose you were just walking down the street and some stranger began
swinging a basebal bat at your head. I'd feel justified in killing the
fool.
Now say you're riding along and some stranger in a 5000 pound SUV tries to
hit you. You assume it was accidental at first but he keeps trying to hit
you. If there were no witnesses, I'd kill him too.
Either case is justifiable in my mind. YMMV

You're talking about a completely different thing than either the OP's
reported incident or mine. And if you're on a motorcycle you should
probably not be trying to aim a firearm at someone who's trying to run
you down. That seems destined for trouble of the OP's reported kind.

Agree if you're on a *moving* motorcycle
