STUPID (Is There Any Other?) MOTORCYCLIST Hits Van Carrying Obama's Wife!

 He was a typical law-breaking MOTORCYCLE IDIOT, no helmet, speeding,
taking chances with other peoples' lives!

Too bad he didn't DIE, but the point is he is an oh-too-common-example
of the out-of-control, reckless, alcoholic, drug-propelled, death-
wishy, low-self-esteem "operator" of motorcycles on the roads of the
United States!

Fact is -- and you cycle bastards know it -- jerks like to "operate"
these hogs because it gives them opportunities to BREAK THE LAWS OF
THE ROAD!

Like the at-fault biker in this story, TIM EMERSON.  Doubtless a true
pea-brain.

Another problem is that if this asshole ever gets back on a cycle
he'll be even more crazy on the road because of additonal probable
brain damage from THIS incident.  Not that he has much to damage.

HAMPTON, Iowa -- A campaign van carrying the wife of Sen. Barack Obama
collided with a motorcycle on a two-lane country road in central Iowa
on Tuesday, sending the motorcyclist to the hospital.
No one in Michelle Obama's Chevrolet Uplander was hurt, although the
van was not drivable. The campaign suspended her final event of the
day.

The wreck occurred on State Road 65 as the two-car caravan headed to
an event at a Franklin County park.
When the van, driven by a campaign aide, began to make a left turn, a
motorcycle that had been traveling in the same direction and rapidly
passing cars on the left crashed into the van's left side. As the van
came to an abrupt halt, the Honda motorcycle careened off the road and
down a small embankment.

The motorcyclist, Iowa Falls hydraulic mechanic Tim Emerson, 40,
landed on grass softened by three inches of weekend rain and lay
motionless with a cut on his head. He was not wearing a helmet. "He
got in a little bit of a hurry and tried to go around everybody," said
Mark Kellar, a friend of Emerson's riding another motorcycle. "He went
around two other cars that he shouldn't have."

Staff members called 911. Emerson was conscious and lucid as police
and paramedics arrived and lifted him onto a back board. "Our only
worry is that he's okay," said Tommy Vietor, the Obama campaign's Iowa
spokesman.

Forty people waited in a park shelter for more than 75 minutes while
Obama staffers gave statements to police.
When Michelle Obama appeared, she thanked the crowd for waiting and
said somberly, "We're a little shaken, but fortunately it could have
been a lot worse."

Absolutely not. Motorists to an individual are responsible, sober,
defensive, and above all safe drivers. They *never* drive while
talking on their mobile or putting on their make-up or trying to light
a fag or reading a map or stuffing their face, with a sandwich in one
hand and a drink in the other. Neither do they drive at 176 mph in a
70 zone or mount the pavement while intoxicated with drink and drugs
and kill innocent 6 year-olds. Oh no, car drivers are positively
perfect in every way and for you to even hint otherwise is
reprehensible, Ivan. Hang your head in shame.
