Nice pictures Steve, What's with the rain tires? Did it actually rain?
I didn't notice it on the Superbike races on TV. Echart Lake WS.(road
america, no?).

Yeah.  <Dryly>  It rained.  </Dryly>

(Note:  we raced after the Superbike race 1 on Saturday.  If you have
it on tape, look at the trees in the background when the bikes are
going down the main straight.  You will see the unbelievable wind
levels that presaged the lightnng and thunderstorms that redflagged,
delayed, and shortened the Formula Extreme race after the Superbike
race and before ours.

Speeking of video here is one of our local racers that didn't have as
good a time as you.  No broken bones but he didn't ride away.
