In Canada it is often said we have two seasons, summer and hockey.
I have also heard time moves faster as you get older. Summers were
endless when I was a kid and now they just fly by.
Positive proof of the above is it feels like last week, when I was
walking the streets of New Denver with a few friends. The word on the
street was the Canucks had just lost game seven of the Stanley Cup final
to Boston. And tomorrow evening the puck drops for the 2011 - 2012
hockey season.
Coincidentally the weather got better a few days after that evening in
New Denver and it is just turning to crap tonight.
Where the hell did this summer go? I hope it was a good one for all.

As a kid, it was the opposite for me and my friends; Summer (and no school)
went by too fast. It's still the case today, only faster. I just had a
physical the other day and, sitting in the Dr's. office, it seemed as though
only a month had gone by, rather than a year, since my last exam.

Is this that perfect Colorado weather that Troy the Troll was always
going on and on and on about? ;-)

I dunno about that, but here in Colorado right now it's 63 degrees and
we're under a clear blue sky. It really doesn't get a whole lot better
than that!
