I have a '93 Seca II 600. Runs great but the seat has seen better days.
The vinyle is torn in places and some foam splittage. The duct tape is a
real eyesore these days. I'd rather not spend the 100 or so for a
replacement from ebay or the 200 plus for a Corbin. Any help on repair?
TIA

This happened to me with a NightHawk 650 I had a while back. I just
dropped the seat off at an auto upholstery shop and they fixed it up
for under 40 bux...

Or if he can, he should try to find an upholstery shop the does industrial
seats for forklifts and the such. These guys tend to charge a wee bit
more than an auto shop but the materials they use are second to none for
indestructability.

You can buy replacement seat covers from JC Whitney, but you'll end up
with a much better seat if you go to a local upholstery shop that knows
what they're doing and uses the correct type of foam. OEM seats are
almost always too soft and not sculptured to fit your butt, and the
older they get the more the original foam deteriorates.
