Oh, he's mentally unstable. No question.
You only have to look at how he builds and elaborates his extraordinary
belief constructions.
Like I said some time before, fundamentally he has a very, very tiny
intellect, and he desperately tries to make out that he is privy to
information available to no-one else, in order to stand up against
intellects greater than his.
(And there are plenty)
He *believes* he and he alone, perceives The Truth, and will try to
mould what he sees as evidence to fit his framework of perceived
reality.
Ultimately, though, he's still a Usenet Nutter, Standard Size Twelve.

The only reason I am the only person that is still pointing out that
you tried to blackmail an ebay seller into giving you a discount and
then got them kicked off ebay because he refused is because you have
bullied and intimidated everyone else into keeping quiet about it. The
difference with me is I am not some florist you can push around.
