My friends team, BUB Racing, just set a one way record for streamliner
bikes. Old record was 360, new record is 370+ (don't have official time
yet). They have an hour left to come back the other way and back it up.
Good luck BUB!

They did it.
The new record speeds are 367.382 mph in the mile, 367.558 mph in the
kilo. Second pass was a little slower. Their driver is Chris Carr of Flat
Track fame, and Super Bikers if your old like me. ;-)
They could run again but they're going to take this record as-is.
Way to go to the BUB Boys. ;-)

The TV show "Destroyed in Seconds" showed some guy at Bonneville(?)
wiping out his bike at close to 200 mph. It had rained recently
and the ground was a bit spongy. The video showed his front end
starting to slew (slough?) around and then it went down in a shower
of dirt. Guy was ok, but the bike needed rebuilding.
