Tioga pass is scheduled to open tomorrow, the others already are.

The west entrance of Glacier Park is open. The road is cleared for 16
miles. That 16 miles is clean and dry. We were there Sunday morning and
there are very few people around. Apparently the road clearing crew is
finding a few more trees and boulders in the road than they were expecting.

Did the loop around 108/89/4 on Saturday. It was very nice up there,
even in Sonora Pass (9600') where it was mid-60s. 108 and 89 were very
clean, although the tar snakes on 89 were VERY slippery. 4 had a lot of
snow melt running across the roadway, but was otherwise also in good
shape.

That's amazing. Did any other outfit pass open besides Sierra?
Actually I'm not sure of the meaning of the phrase "to pass open".
To qualify in an Open class of bike race?

He's referring to passes through the Sierra Nevada mountains.
