On my way home today, I saw a biker by the side of the highway. I
stopped and asked if he needed help. He was looking at the ground and
walking around. He said he had put floorboards on his bike, didn't
tighten the bolt that holds the shifter on, and the bolt fell off.
That's when I looked at his bike. It's a Buell. His girlfriend was
coming to meet him and if he didn't find it, she'd give him a ride to
a hardware store for a new bolt. As I rode off, I started
wondering,..

Why would anyone put floorboards on a Buell?

I love floorboards. I think they'd be great on any bike, but
completely impractical on a bike with under the body footrests. Unless
you are just bowlegged as hell, how would you ever get your foot down
at stops?

The guy is an idiot. End of discussion...I mean floor boards on a
sport bike is like, like bras on dogs FFS!

Say! Do you still have those pix of Zhukov in his rhinestone jockstrap
that you were trying to sell on ebay?
