..,and make sure you do it some other way than here. I often go a week
or more w/o even opening the nresgroup reader. Even then I normally only
scan the subject lines or pick a couple at random to see who's flamin' who.

That got me thinking.
Before they relocated our office, I was doing 80 miles a day on my
commute, regular as clockwork, unless it was raining or snowing, in
which case I took the car.
Now I do 30 miles a day, but the car never gets used on the commute, so
I'm riding a bike five days out of every seven - weekends extra.
Trouble is, my 'real' bikes don't get used nearly as much. Almost all my
mileage right now is on a 250 single.
I feel the need for a long fast thrash.

| Looking forward to about 2,200 ~ 2,400 miles of riding in the near
| future. Last year was possibly my lowest mileage year since my first
| year riding, in 1978. This year I plan to correct that. I aleady
| enjoyed a nice 1,100 mile jaunt from SC to St. Augustine, FL, in the
| Daytona Beach vicinity, and back to SC. Looking forward to even more
| miles and smiles soon....
Go gettum blighter! Do it while you can! Cheers and blessings.
I'm afraid my really high mileage years are over .... not that I won't ride
some but prolly not 30-50,000 miles/year. Be lucky to do 10K, and that
locally, at least until SWMBO retires and then I dunno what my health will
allow.
So it's up to y'all to keep the faith <g>.
