I like my Honda Shadow 600, which gets 60 MPG all around.

Tried and sold a 2006 Suzuki Katana.  Not the right bike for me.

Thinking about getting a Suzuki C50T.  I'd like something with a little more
horsepower but good gas mileage.

Anybody own one?  Any way to estimate the mileage in advance?

Thanks.

I have a 2003 Volusia, the carburated  predecessor to the C50.
Mileage is close the other bikes I've owned, about 45 mpg.

Stop worrying about mileage and start thinking about what bike
is fun for you.  I'd gladly continue to ride my FJR even if it
only got 20 mpg.  If you can't say the same about your bike,
I suggest that either you haven't found the right bike yet, or
motorcycles aren't for you.

I understand your way of thinking.

However, the 60 MPG of the Shadow 600 is great.  45 is too low for me.  I
wouldn't go any lower than 50.

Hell, some cars these days are pushing 40.
