Does anyone know if there are plans to make a "T" variant of this
brute in the future?
I going to put my Fat Boy up for sale in the next few weeks. Will
probably not buy another bike until late summer at the earliest due to
not wanting to take on payments on anything else for a while.
While the 96", six-speed Harleys are certainly not out of the running
as a replacement for the Fat Boy, I am not dismissing other makes out
of hand. I will probably be looking for something in the touring
crusier line, so if it's H-D it will be a Road King. Among other
brands the VTX with bags, backrests, and winshield is of interest. The
Yamaha Stratoliner has some appeal, as well. If Suzuki puts out an
M109T it would definitely jump up on the short list.

A VTX is the worst handling pig out there. I don't know anything
about the Suz, but the HD RK is a great bike.
A friend of mine has the Yammie and LOVES it - I've never ridden it.

The RK will in all likelihood be my choice when the time comes,
especially with the larger engine and extra gear now standard, but I
thought I'd see what else is out there anyway.

I sat on one at the dealership. Very well-balanced bike and it looks
nicer in person than in pictures. I thought it was kinda gaudy in the
magazine articles I'd seen but after seeing it for real I have to
admit I was impressed.

When you say "VTX is the worst handling..." I assume you mean the 1800. The
VTX1300C is a pleasure to drive and whip around the twisties.
