They say bad things happen in groups of 3.

Riding home for lunch I approach an intersection and the lights are
flashing red. I watch all the cars in front of me stop and take turns
going through the intersection. I stop and see a car approaching from
the left and slowing down. So I take my turn and pull into the
intersection, and SOB speeds up almost gets me. I look up and his
light is GREEN! So the stupid light decided to start functioning when
I was in the middle of the intersection. Talk about being in the
wrong place at worng time. One down.

Coming back from lunch I see a beautiful Yamaha Virago I park near
down on the road in front of Big Ed's diner just off campus. Seems he
lost a fight with a cage pulling out of an alley. Two down.

And then I get to my desk a see an email notification that there has
been a bomb threat on campus, up at the hospital. That's the third
one.

Sheesh, I should have stayed home today.

This is so crazy I can't believe it.
It's just not comprehensible.
I'm beyond belief!
In fact, I refuse to believe it at all.

When your campus has a deranged killer on a rampage or a terrorist
incident or a bomb threat, they notify everyone by EMAIL!??

Is the pace of life in Utah so slow that's their idea of "rapid
response"?

The world changed, after 911....

Remeber the Virginia Tech killings? Students can conceal carry anywhere on
campus, many want open carry, everywhere.

Yep, Americans and Utards in general a very paranoid society. It is really
too bad, we (the world), should be civilized by now.

Americans are into revenge, punishment and being a vigilante. The police
won't protect us so, by God I will.

We live in a very scary world, be afraid, very afraid.

Civilization is only a thin veneer over barbarianism. Perhaps you're
only now seeing it as you should be?

There are many humorous things in the world, among them the white
man's notion that he is less savage than the other savages. ~Mark
Twain
