First let me say that, although I rarely post here, I have probably learned
as much from the regular posters here as I did in the MSF class I took a few
years ago. It hasn't always of a positive nature, but learning, nonetheless.

So, I have a quick question for all of you 20-30-40 year riders.  What kind
of mileage SHOULD I expect out of a set of Bridgestone Exedras? I ride a
Vulcann 1600.  Mixed riding - some highway, some not.  Probably about 75%
straight up and down - I won't wear them out from the sides, that's for
sure.

I have just over 5K on them now. I see BridgeSTONES beat up a bit on this
forum so what's the concensus on replacements?

Thanks for your help.

Good luck getting any sort of definitive answer.  Tire wear varies
*greatly* depending on riding style.

I used up the stock DunFlops on my Concours in about 7000 miles, while I
have heard of people getting far more.  I got about 12k out of my first
rear Michelin PilotGT, (and it was overdue for a change) but have heard
of people getting 15k+.  Got about 15k out of the PilotGT on the front.

Running high pressure is also reported to prolong life at the expense of
some traction.

Running low pressure certainly shortens tire life drastically.
