Went riding around the chicken farms of east Texas. Wind is blowing with
gust to around 40mph. I was in the middle of a 90 degree turn at about 10
mph, when one of those 40 MPH gust caught my windshield from the opposite
was I was turning. I swear, the bike just stopped like a stalling
airplane, except when the wind quit, I started going forward again, a
little wobbly, but I kept it upright.
I went home and parked it.....Tomorrows another day to ride and I want to
be there for it.

Used to commute between Stockton, CA and Mare Island. There was one
place along I-80 right before getting into Vallejo that the wind would
come from the north (right) through a left hand curve. There were
several times I went around that left hand curve leaned to the right.

One of the funny experiences (that we've all had) is having a steady wind on
the freeway so that one is leaned to one side but going straight. Takes a
small amount of getting used to.

It's only happened to me once, but it was a doozy. Riding for miles
through Montana, leaned-over about 45 degrees. Seriously. It sure
felt like that, anyway.
Fortunately, it did not suddenly quit blowing...
