He didn't get life, he got a few years and happened to expire before his
sentence did. He had been rolling back the clocks for years and got sloppy at
it, flaunted that he couldn't be caught, and lost.
He formerly had the largest GM dealership in town. It quickly folded when he
went to the Big House, stayed empty for a few years, then Lowe's opened a store
in the building. Now it's a John Deere Tractor/Honda Motorcycle dealership.

Several other ways to arrive at a low mileage bike.
My odometer's due to roll over forward in another
year or two. For the second time.
Lots of bikes spend years at a time sitting in a
garage and never see the light of day.
Lots of other owners break a speedo cable or
other part and just never bother to replace it.
