They only have like 15-20 bikes total in stock, so...
They sell Ironhorse or American Iron or something like that custom/
prod choppers that sell for $25,000-55,000 on the floor. They had 2
Visions - one of which was completely decked out and the normal array
of other Victory's, only one or two of which really caught my eye as
attractive. A couple of their regular cruiser models were downright
ugly, which is an about-face for. I've always thought Victory had the
nicer looking bikes across their entire, though limited line.
This is the first time I've seen a Vision up close and personal. I
like it and then I don't. It looks like a scooter from one angle, a
tourer (ala GW) from another, and a spacecraft from yet another angle.
The bars are very thick, reminding me somewhat of an aluminum softball
bat. They weren't chrome.
I touched a bunch of parts - lots of plastic. The floorboards are
enormous; you could very nearly sleep on 'em.
The instrument panel was neat and looked rather spartan considering
the bike has a multi-CD changer sound system built-in.
I thought about asking to take a test ride, but there was another guy
there who was serious about buying a bike and they only had one
salesperson on the floor. I knew I wasn't buying no matter what, so I
didn't snag the salesperson's time. Good thing since as I walked out,
the guy was *this* far from buying a Victory and, in fact, was having
the bike rolled out for a testride.

The thing I've always wondered - since I have yet to see a
Vision "in the flesh" - is whether or not photos do it justice, or
if it's one of those things that looks completely different on the
printed page than it does in real life.
'Cause so far, from the photos I've seen, it just comes off as
...weird.

The pictures are pretty accurate.
It's huge and looks straight out of the Jetsons.
That said, in a strange kind of way it seems to work as a package
although it's still ungainly.

It may be that your sole purpose in life
is to serve as a warning to others.
